1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have been with Instant for 4 years, working from our Dallas satellite office handling corporate accounts across the central region of the US. Previous to my position with Instant, I worked for Regus in their corporate account division developing new accounts. On a personal note, my husband Jason and I have a 4 year old daughter, Isabella, who keeps us very busy outside of work with swimming, soccer and biking. 

2. What is your role at Instant? What does that entail?

I am in a duel capacity role with Instant now. As the new US Sales Manager, I will manage the online Account Managers in the US office, develop their skill set, working with them to grow the Instant name across North America. I will also retain my role with global corporate accounts, where I will continue to discover, grow and develop corporate clients on a global basis.

3. Why do you enjoy working for Instant?

It is no secret that I love working for Instant. We have a unique culture where we have been able to attract the very best in the industry. There is a fierce sense of loyalty, excitement and passion in each and every person across the company. I truly believe that we work as a team and push each other to be better, think bigger and simply be the best for our clients and partners alike. 

4. What are the most commonly asked questions in your line of work?

I am often asked, “Why should I use Instant instead of going direct to the operators?” Many companies do not realise how many operators there are around the world. I can confidently say Instant is the best at procuring office space around the world and can provide each and every client with a variety of solutions because of our global reach. We know what good looks like and have a strong team who specialise in each area. This in turn allows us to deliver quickly and confidently to our clients.

5. What do you love about the city you work in?

I love the pride that every person has in Dallas. I am originally from Canada and I thought Canadians were proud and loved to show it, but people in Dallas are passionate about the city. It is also a great sports town, and people are so friendly.

6. What would you say to people looking to rent office space in the areas you cover?

If we look at North America as a whole, I would say to anyone (small or large companies) to explore serviced offices no matter the number of people they need to place. Operators are becoming more sophisticated and truly flexible.  The idea that they can only support 1 to 2 people is being thrown out the window. There are so many operators to choose from and many can handle varying size requirements.

7. What are the main trends you have seen in the industry since you joined Instant?

American companies are starting to view serviced offices differently. They are becoming more acceptable and part of the norm. America is fast growing in this industry, and as I said previously, operators are becoming more sophisticated in catering to the clients’ needs. The fact that Instant can showcase these operators and options to our clients is incredible.
